With playful irony Collett’s vessels directly oppose functional sculpture and instead stand to be enjoyed purely as esthetic forms reminiscent of elements from the natural world. Particularly evocative of nests, shells, corals and fossils in their pallet, shape and texture, both vessels and prints embody the flux and process of nature and life.
